Brooke Harbaugh          

Brooke is a creative producer, project manager, and artist for film, live events, and theater. She has produced new works across artistic disciplines at REDCAT, California Institute of the Arts, Automata, San Diego Underground Film Festival and in Argentina as a Fulbright recipient. Recent credits include Grand Ave Arts: All Access and BBC (Big Black Cockroach) by Paul Outlaw. Brooke is currently based in San Francisco and works regularly between SF and Los Angeles.

Grand Ave Arts: All Access is one of L.A.’s longest-running free open house events for arts and culture exploration in Downtown Los Angeles.

INTO ACT!ON 2024 was a large-scale, pop-up, non-partisan festival of arts, culture, and voting power.

The gallery featured over 200 works of art by 140 artists, including Hank Willis Thomas, Otis Kwame Kye Quaicoe, bmike, Swoon, and Stephanie Mercado.



BBC (Big Black Cockroach)

BBC (Big Black Cockroach) is a new experimental theater work by multidisciplinary performing artist Paul Outlaw. In this nightmarish satire, a right-wing American white woman awakens to find herself in an unfamiliar place and transformed into a Black man. BBC mixes a disorienting cocktail of historical and contemporary traumas and future visions in its depiction of imperiled Blackness in America.

Written and Performed by Paul Outlaw. Directed by Sara Lyons.
